Engaging in the trend of remaking films, Srikanth Velagaleti of “Utt Pataang” will now direct the remake of the critically acclaimed and successful Marathi movie, “Balak Palak.” “The tentative title of the film in Telugu is ‘BF’. Director Srikanth is currently busy finalising the lead cast. There are plans to rope in a star couple to play some important roles in the movie,” a source said. The original was directed by Ravi Jadhav and produced by actor Riteish Deshmukh and Uttung Thakur. The story revolves around the role of sex education in a group of adolescents. The Telugu remake will be co-produced by Uttung and Mohan S Devanga of Kangaroo Motion Pictures.
