Maniratnam is all set to commence his next project reportedly titled 'Kaatru Veliyidai' and will shoot a song and few of the important scenes in Ooty and other parts of the Nilgiris. The film will show Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari and the lead with RJ Balaji in a pivotal role. Actor-Director Parthiban’s daughter Keerthana is working as an assistant director in the film and the interesting fact is that as a child artist, she was the heroine (central character) of Manirathnam’s ‘Kannathil Muthamittaal.’ Similarly Karthi assisted Mani in ‘Ayudha Ezhuthu.’ The film has the ARR-Vairamuthu combo on board with Ravi Varman cranking the camera.
