Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' will soon be hitting the screens this week. His first film with assistant director turned actor Karthi, the movie also marks the 25th year of collaboration between Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman. Already focused on his next, Mani Ratnam spoke in a recent interview. "I am working on a script. Hopefully I will start the film later this year. The film will release for next summer if things fall in place." So after the super hit 'O Kadhal Kanmani' in Summer 2015 and 'Kaatru Veliyidai' in Summer 2017 we can expect the next Mani Ratnam film in Summer 2018. That's great news indeed.
