Megastar Kamal Haasan's 1985 super hit 'Kakki Sattai' is currently being readied for a re-release this year. The film, like any other re-release, has been digitally restored with 5.1 DTS format by Darwin Pictures. Directed by Rajasekhar, the film will release all across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and overseas, in March this year.
As his yesteryear blockbuster gets a digital makeover, Haasan has a lot on his plate, with a political career to kickstart,and a collaboration with Vikram. The 63 year old has confirmed that he is joining hands with the 'Iru Murugan' star for a project. He has also reportedly wished that his daughter Akshara would be a part of the film. Rajesh Selva of 'Thoongavanam' fame will direct the movie and took to Twitter to announce Ghibran as the music composer.
