Actor Jyotika's latest Tamil venture 'Ponmagal Vandhal' was leaked online last week by Tamilrockers right before its scheduled premiere. A media report revealed the movie was leaked online by the piracy site just a couple hours ahead of its world premiere on Amazon Prime.
It also said that the film's HD version was on the piracy website, causing the makers to fret. 'Ponmagal Vandhal' features Jyotika in the role of a lawyer, and is the first mainstream Tamil film to have a direct OTT release. In an interview with a media house, the actress said she's open to exploring opportunities on OTT platforms.
Produced by actor Suriya, the film also stars K Bhagyaraj, R Parthiepan, Pandiarajan, and Pratap Pothen in crucial roles.
