Jyotika's comeback in 2015 with "36 Vayathinile" marked a significant shift, notably in her increased social media presence and candid interviews. In a recent rapid-fire segment on Galatta India's YouTube channel, she addressed questions about her husband Suriya and co-stars Rajinikanth, Vijay, and Mammootty. However, the highlight was her bold response to the query about her desired Tamil co-star for her next project.

When questioned about her desired Tamil co-star, Jyotika boldly replied, "I've been carrying my films alone for a while now. I don't think I need a hero."

The actress expressed her interest in collaborating with her husband Suriya on a quality Hindi film, stating, "If something truly exceptional comes along, I'd love to work with Suriya." When prompted to disclose a positive and a pet peeve about Suriya, she shared, "I admire his respect and consideration for my space. However, I do find his extended bathroom sessions a bit challenging. It's a morning struggle."

She added, “I think he values the friendship we share, and as for what he tolerates in me, it would probably be a lengthy list. He must tolerate a lot. He's the listener, and I'm the talker, so he probably puts up with quite a bit.”

Jyotika stands out as one of the few actresses to have worked alongside all the superstars in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. Reflecting on her experiences, the seasoned actress highlighted positive qualities in some of these stars. Regarding Mammootty, she expressed admiration for his current phase of contributing to cinema as an actor. As for Rajinikanth and Vijay, Jyotika lauded their 'superstardom' and 'consistency,' respectively.
