Kollywood actor GV Prakash has a lot on his platter with four films already releasing this year, including the recently-released 'Sivappu Manjal Pachai.' The composer-turned-actor also has a slew of other films ready for release. With the recent announcement, it has been revealed that GV Prakash will soon be making his Hollywood acting debut in the film, 'Trap City', directed by Ricky Burchell, and starring Brandon T Jackson and Dennis LA White.
The film is said to be about a drug peddler turned successful rapper who has to make an important choice between betraying a dangerous crime boss or save his career. This project is bankrolled by Tel Ganesan under the banner KYBA Films, who had earlier produced two Hollywood films - 'Devil’s Night: Dawn Of The Nain Rouge' and 'Christmas Coupon', that actor Napoleon had starred.
GV Prakash was last seen playing one of the leads in director Sasi's action-drama 'Sivappu Manjal Pachai,' which also starred Siddharth, Kashmira Pardeshi, Lijomol Jose and others in lead roles. He will be next seen playing the lead in films such as '100% Kadhal', 'Adangaadhey' and director Vasanthabalan's 'Jail' and is currently shooting for 'Bachelor', 'Aayiram Jenmangal' and 'Kaadhalikka Yaarumillai'. GV Prakash will also be composing music for director Vetrimaaran's 'Asuran', which stars Dhanush in the lead and also in 'Irudhi Suttru'.
