Actor Ayushmann Khuranna's award-winning film 'Andhadhun' is all set to be remade in Tamil. Multi-talented actor Dhanush is currently in the process of obtaining rights to the movie. A media report read, “It is a brilliant film and we have already started the process of acquiring the rights. It's one of those thrillers which I wouldn't mind remaking in Tamil.”

Dhanush, who was recently in Mumbai to launch the trailer of his Hollywood debut, 'The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir' by Ken Scott, spoke about working on the project. He said, “The experience was fantastic. I should thank Ken and my co-stars. My English isn't that great but they were really patient with me and helped me.”

The Sriram Raghavan’s 2018 super hit also starred Tabu in a pivotal role, while Radhika Apte appeared in a supporting role.

He also said that he plans a film with Aanad L Rai of 'Raanjhanaa' fame. “I will be teaming up with Aanand L Rai some time. I will be doing a Hindi film, it'll be announced soon.” He also addressed rumours about following his father-in-law Rajinikanth's footsteps and joining politics. He also rubbished reports suggesting he would produce Rajini's next, to be directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

Based on the international best-selling novel, 'The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir Who Got Trapped in an IKEA Wardrobe' by Romain Puertolas, the film is set to hit big screens in India on June 21.
