Aishwarya in Mani Ratnam's next

The film industry is buzzing with news that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play a key role in director Mani Ratnam's next project. The script is rumoured to be lying around for years and the director has now finally decided to pick up on the project and materialise it soon. The movie will be a cross border love story between an Indian boy and a Pakistani girl. It is also said, the project is a sequel to his classic “Bombay” and will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, simultaneously. Aishwarya had launched into the film industry with Ratnam's “Iruvar” and has worked together with director for “Guru” and “Raavanam.” The actress, who had taken a break from acting after the birth of her daughter Aaradhya, is returning to acting with “Jazbaa” and will soon will start work with Karan Johar's “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” followed by a movie with Sujoy Ghosh.
