'Baahubali' travels to Pakistan

Maker of the mega-hit 'Baahubali' series, SS Rajamouli has carved a space for himself in the world arena. The magnum opus has been invited to several international film festivals and the latest to extend invitation is the first edition of the Pakistan International Film Festival (PiFF). Both segments of the franchise created history by entering the 1000 Crore film league. It went on to become one of the highest grosser films in the Indian box office.

Rajamouli expressed his gratitude and said it would be one of the most exciting of all film festivals he has attended. “Baahubali has given me opportunities to travel to a number of countries... The most exciting of them all is now, Pakistan. Thank you Pakistan international film festival, Karachi for the invite,” he said. The film franchise had a stellar star cast, with Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah, Sathyaraj, and Ramya Krishnan in pivotal roles.

International version of the film was released in China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Timor-Leste, and other European and Latin American countries. 'Baahubali' has been to several film festivals, like the Busan International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festical in France, Hawaii International Film Festival, and more.
