Priyanka's 'Kid Like Jake' to debut at Sundance

Priyanka Chopra's upcoming Hollywood film, ' A Kid Like Jake' will be screened at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Directed by Silas Howard, the movie will be showcased in the premiere section. Sharing her excitement, the actress tweeted, “When I read the script of 'Kid Like Jake', I knew immediately that this was a story I had to be a part of... A story that needed to be told and seen... And now it's been selected for Sundance Film Festival!”

The movie revolves around a married couple who navigate their roles as parents to a young son who prefers Cinderella to GI Joe. It also stars Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, Ann Dowd, and Amy Landecker. Also to debut at the festival is 'Kailash', a film on child rights activist and Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi. The movie will show how he, as a young man, promised himself that he would end child slavery in his lifetime, and has rescued over 80,000 children and built a global movement.

Meanwhile, Priyanka also tweeted, “Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, Silas Howard, Amy Landecker, Ann Dowd Daniel Pearle, Todd Spiewak, Eric Norsoph, Paul Bernon, Rachel Song -- thank you for being such an incredible team to work with.”
