“Vicky Donor literally conceived me as an actor": Ayushmann Khurrana

In 2012, Ayushmann Khurrana embarked on his cinematic journey with "Vicky Donor," a groundbreaking film challenging societal norms surrounding sperm donation and infertility. This debut not only garnered widespread critical praise but also secured him his first Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. As the film marked its 12th anniversary, Ayushmann expressed gratitude to his fans for commemorating it in a uniquely creative manner.

Celebrating its 12-year milestone, Shoojit Sircar's directorial venture, "Vicky Donor," starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Yami Gautam, received special recognition from fan pages. They surprised Ayushmann with an anime edit showcasing memorable scenes from the film. Ayushmann re-shared the images on his Instagram handle along with a heartfelt note.

Sharing the photos, he wrote, "12 years... it's hard to believe how time flies! Vicky Donor literally conceived me as an actor/star. And seeing you all celebrate its an anniversary with such creativity is heartwarming. Here's to the magic you bring to my journey! Also, if Vicky Donor was an anime, what would you name it? Following his breakthrough in "Vicky Donor," Ayushmann showcased his versatility in notable films such as "Dum Laga Ke Haisha," "Badhaai Ho," "Andhadhun,"  etc. His latest appearance was in "Dream Girl 2," where he starred alongside Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, and Abhishek Banerjee.
