One of the biggest playback singers in B-Town, Shreya Ghoshal has rendered her beautiful voice to numerous songs, in almost all Indian languages. Every year the 'Ghoomar' singer returns to the UK to give some power-packed performances, and 2018 is no different. Ghoshal is all set to perform some of her most memorable hits along with a full symphony orchestra and 40 musicians, on May 6, at The SSE Arena, Wembley, and on May 7, at the De Montfort Hall, Leicester. Back for yet another sell-out show, fans of the singer can expect a lively evening full of filmy hits.

The beautiful concerts, organised by TLC Events, will catch Shreya recreate her own hits and other classics to the sounds of the symphony orchestra. “I've done so many world tours, but none have come closer to this one. I wanted to offer something unconventional to my fans. That's when I decided to have a grand symphony with strings, piano, and a choir section along with my core band,” she said. Shreya added, “I will present songs that I've recorded in the previous songs. Songs by Lataji, Ashaji, Madan Mohan Saab, RD Burmanji, Salil Chowdhury, and Laxmikant-Pyarelal are close to my heart. Music became my first love after I heard their tracks. It will be an honour to sing their songs live.”

The 34 year old is a household name in India, and one of the very few musical prodigies Bollywood has produced. She rose to fame in 2000 when she won then popular singing competition 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'. The singer made her debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bollywood epic 'Devdas', and has not turned back ever since.
