Superstar Salman Khan has unveiled his next cinematic venture, "Sikandar," slated for release on Eid 2025. Directed by AR Murugadoss, known for his work in "Ghajini," and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the action-packed thriller promises to enthral audiences. In typical Salman Khan fashion, the announcement came with a vibrant poster, accompanied by a nod to this year's Eid releases - Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's action-packed "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan," and Ajay Devgn's sports biopic drama, "Maidaan."

The superstar, who is known for his Eid releases since 2010, took to X and revealed the first poster of the film. “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar. Directed by @ARMurugadoss @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala #SikandarEid2025,” his tweet read.

Salman Khan has been the undisputed king of Eid releases since the success of his blockbuster "Dabangg" in 2010. With exceptions like last year's "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," "Bharat," "Race 3," and "Tubelight," almost every Eid release has turned into a blockbuster hit, including "Bodyguard," "Ek Tha Tiger," "Kick," "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," and "Sultan."

Choosing "Sikandar" as his next project came after considering several options, including a Karan Johar production and a Sooraj Barjatya directorial. With his recent releases like "Tiger 3" and "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" failing to achieve blockbuster status, Salman hopes to make a grand comeback at the box office.
