Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon and film distributor Anil Thadani, makes her film debut in ‘Azaad’, directed by Abhishek Kapoor. The movie, which stars Aaman Devgan and his uncle, superstar Ajay Devgan, explores the bond between a young stable boy and a horse.
At 19, Rasha is eager to carry forward the legacy of her maternal grandfather, filmmaker Ravi Tandon. "I hope to make my family proud through hard work and win over audiences," she said.

When asked if her mother, 90s and 2000s star Raveena Tandon, shared any acting tips, Rasha Thadani revealed, “She always said, ‘Trust the director’s vision; no one else has it.’” Rasha, who discovered her passion for acting as a child, often practiced expressions and movements in front of the mirror. “My mom always knew I’d pursue this. She enrolled me in Kathak at five and Indian classical classes by nine, despite my initial hesitation,” she shared.

Rasha Thadani reflects on her journey with gratitude, crediting her mother for enrolling her in dance classes early on. “Thank you, Mumma, for those classes,” she said. Taking on ‘Azaad’ during her 12th-grade board exams was a leap of faith. “I was unprepared and clueless, but it just happened with auditions and meetings,” she shared. Initially, she and co-star Aaman Devgan didn’t get along but later developed a strong bond. “He’s now my best friend and someone I can truly rely on,” Rasha said. A fan of Alia Bhatt, she recently praised ‘Jigra’ as “an amazing film.”
