Professor Albus Dumbledore is one of the most beloved characters in author JK Rowling's famous Harry Potter series. While the character was played by late English actor Richard Harris in the movie adaptation, between 2001 and 2011, the role was later taken up by Michael Gambon after his death. However, to everybody's surprise, an Indian actor apparently had a shot at playing the iconic role. In a recent interview, ace actor Naseeruddin Shah said, "My agent wanted me to audition for Dumbledore's character after Richard Harris died. I was asked if I would like to audition for it. But I wouldn't audition for it." Oh, the could haves. Can you imagine a face off between He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named and Shah?!
