Nagesh Kukunoor's 'Dhanak' has people swooning all across the country. In a recent screening of the movie organised by corporate social responsibility wing of one of India's biggest cinema companies, for over 1,000 underprivileged children in New Delhi. "It was a beautiful experience for the kids as they enjoyed the movie, especially the songs. The entire theatre was full of fun, laughter and joyous vibes," a guest said.
Producer Manish Mundra said, "The children's joy knew no bounds, and we at Drishyam Films feel proud to have brought smiles on so many innocent faces." Director Nagesh couldn't have asked for a better audience. He said, "I have mentored many children over the years in collaboration with these NGOs, so for me, it was a very special moment to have these kids watch and enjoy my film." The movie is about the journey of a visually-impaired yet spirited boy and his loving sister who travel across Rajasthan to get his eyesight back.
