After making her directorial debut with 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi,' in which she was also seen in the titular role, Kangana Ranaut will now foray into production. She is now gearing up to launch her own production house which will be called Manikarnika Films which is expected to be launched in 2020.

“If 'Judgementall Hai Kya' was made without me on a budget of £1 million, it would have been a blockbuster at £4 million. However, because it was made at nearly £3 million, it just about broke even. I want to [back] a few small films and see how that goes. Eventually, I may do something on a bigger level. We will also venture into digital entertainment,” Kangana said in an interview.

She also announced that she won’t act in her production ventures and would rather provide the platform for new talent. “I won’t be acting in the films that I produce. There is a lot of talent around and I will hire actors who are perfect for the scripts. I will take new talent under my wing and guide them,” she said.

Last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s 'Judgementall Hai Kya' opposite RajKummar Rao, Kangana is currently busy with her upcoming projects. She will be next seen in 'Thalaivi,' a biopic based on the life of late Tamil Nadu politician J Jayalalithaa. After the biopic, Kangana will work on her action film 'Dhaakad' where she features in the lead role opposite Jassie Gill.
