Fawad Khan to play Alamgir in ‘Albela Rahi’

Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will play the role of legendary Pakistan singer Alamgir in his upcoming biopic 'Albela Rahi'. The 34 year old took to Twitter to share the news about his full-fledged debut in Pakistani films. “At the film announcement of @Albela_Rahi. Excited to play the role of the legendary #Alamgir.” One of the pioneers of Urdu pop music in Pakistan, Alamgir's style of singing is said to be inspired by playback singer Ahmed Rushdi. Meanwhile, back home, the actor will soon be seen in 'Kapoor & Sons', opposite Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
