American talk show host David Letterman was in for a surprise when he accompanied Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan to greet fans outside his residence on Eid. Shah had shot an episode of Letterman's 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction' in New York last month, and gave the legendary host a small taste of his stardom in India, last week. As per tradition, Shah Rukh came out to his terrace to wave to his fans to reciprocate his love on Eid. He was joined by his youngest son AbRam, and a visibly overwhelmed Letterman to wave to the crowd.

From posing in his signature 'arms wide open' pose to kissing AbRam, exhanging smiles with Letter and giving flying kisses to the gathering of fans, there are several photographs and videos from SRK's Eid celebrations doing the rounds on the internet. In a viral video, he is seen teaching Letterman how to do a 'salaam'. While Shah Rukh looked dapper in a white kurta pyjama, Letterman wore a beige coat.

Shah Rukh later, shared a video on Twitter and wrote, “Thank you all for spending your Eid with me... May God bless you all with health and happiness.” Letterman is reportedly here to shoot some remaining portions of the SRK episode, as was evident with a cameraman who was seen capturing the fan frenzy from Shah Rukh's terrace.
