Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently led a meeting of the WAVES Advisory Board to position India as a global entertainment hub. Anil Kapoor thanked the PM on social media for the initiative.
WAVES is a global summit uniting entertainment, creativity, and culture, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.
On X, PM Modi shared, "Just concluded a productive meeting with the WAVES Advisory Board, a global summit uniting entertainment, creativity, and culture. Board members, eminent individuals from diverse fields, offered valuable insights to help position India as a global entertainment hub."
Meanwhile, ‘Animal’ actor Anil Kapoor expressed on X, "Honoured to be part of the WAVES Advisory Board and contribute to this initiative. We had insightful discussions and look forward to making India a global entertainment hub!"
Anupam Kher expressed his gratitude on social media, thanking Prime Minister Modi for the opportunity to join the WAVES Advisory Board. He wrote, "Thank you, PM Modi, for this amazing initiative. WAVES will make India a global entertainment hub, and in a few years, India will be the 'Davos' of entertainment and culture."

During the WAVES Summit (February 5-9, 2025), PM Modi held virtual discussions with top actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and AR Rahman, and business leaders including Mukesh Ambani, Satya Nadella, and Anand Mahindra.
