Aamir Khan’s much-awaited movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has finally finished its production stages, as announced by its makers last week. Backed by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios and Paramount Pictures, the movie also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. An official adaptation of Tom Hanks’ 1994 movie ‘Forrest Gump’, the movie went on floors last year and was shot across 100 locations in the country.

Makers of the movie revealed shoot wrapped up recently, and the cast and crew celebrated the moment on its set. Helmed by Advait Chandan, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’s screenplay credit will be shared between Atul Kulkarni, and Eric Roth who adapted the 1986 novel.

The movie chronicled the life story of the titular protagonist, a slow-witted but kindhearted man from Alabama. The movie went on to win six Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, and Best Director. ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is scheduled to be released on Christmas this year.
