NYIFF shares the same objective as the National Film Awards - to celebrate and support the cinematic talents of India, about India and for India and to give due recognition to films in all the Indian languages. Hence, we take pride that audiences in the New York Tri-State Area and across the world were able to access and view these films before they became more widely available. Our curators will continue to seek out the best artistic talent and promote them.”
