Dear All,

It is with great remorse that I announce the sad departure of Sarlaben Parekh, my dearest friend Bhupatrai Parekh's life partner. I knew Sarlaben since 1978, and have gratefully been a part of her journey. Many understand Bhupatbhai to be a strict person, but in my 41 year old association with him, I have seen him at his best and his worst. And when it came to Sarlaben, he was as soft as petal. Knowing that his wife wasn't keeping well in the past couple years, and was even virtually in a coma for quite some time, Bhupatbhai held on to her stronger than before.

In fact, their son Dr. Bhavesh and daughter-in-law Dr. Urvi's contribution to Sarlaben's life has been commendable. The two have shown incredible strength and conviction into the treatment and keeping of their mother and no amount of words can ever amount to what I really wish to convey about them. Bhupatbhai's family have maintained utmost dignity and shown solidarity among themselves when it came to Sarlaben. I hope they find solace in each other during this troubled time.

Those who wish to contact the family, may call Dr. Bhavesh on 9825034353 or E-mail him at [email protected].
