Sad passing of Saudarshan Bhatia

The Hindu Forum of Britain has expressed their deepest sympathy over the untimely departure of a great soul of ‘Shree Sudarshan Bhatia ji’, a true dharma rakshak and sewak of the Hindu Community for over four decades in the UK.

Sudarshan ji will be missed by a large numbers of Hindus across the globe as he served various local, national and international organisations. The Viswa Hindu Kendra in Southall was his second home where he served as a President for over 20 years.

He was born in 1949 in India and came to the UK in 1979 with Masters in Physics and Bachelor of Science (first class) to begin a career in teaching and became a successful businessmen. He utilized his professional skills to pave the way for Hindus in the UK, to be established, recognised and created an early base for the Hindu community in the heart of Southall. He believed in working together with all and being a part of the network of various faiths in Britain and as such he served as a president of two major Hindu organisations, the President of the Hindu Forum of Europe in partnership with the HFB and National Council of Hindu Temples.
