Malabar Gold & Diamonds, the world’s 5th largest jewellery retailer with over 400 showrooms in 13 countries, has expanded in the UK with two new flagship stores in Birmingham and Southall. Bollywood actress and brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor Khan inaugurated the showrooms, marking a key milestone in the brand’s international growth.
The launch was attended by M.P. Ahammad, Chairman of Malabar Group; Abdul Salam K.P, Vice Chairman; Shamlal Ahamed, MD of International Operations; Mohammed Ziad, Branch Head; along with other directors, senior management team members, community leaders, valued customers, and well-wishers.

The new showrooms are designed as luxury destinations, offering over 30,000 designs in 18K and 22K gold, diamonds, and precious gems across 25+ exclusive collections. Customers can access customised jewellery services and exclusive bridal designs. At 5,700+ sq.ft, the Birmingham showroom is Malabar Gold & Diamonds’ largest UK outlet. With the new openings, Malabar Gold & Diamonds now has four showrooms in the UK, located in Birmingham, Leicester, Southall, and Green Street, London.
