Amongst many grand Indian Republic Day celebrations held all over the UK, Inspiring Indian Woman(IIW), a Not for Profit organisation, based in UK, lead the Republic Day celebrations in Harrow, Greater London. They also organised an event viz. “Hum Aur Humari Bhasha” at the Zoroastrian Centre, Harrow.
Chief Guest on the occasion was His Worshipful Mayor Cllr Nitin Parekh and Guest of Honour was Harrow East MP and Padmshree recipient Bob Blackman. He was joined by Minister of Coordination from High Commission of India, Manmeet Singh Narang and other guests.
The Indian Diaspora also felicitated Bob Blackman with a standing ovation and shawls on this occasion, for being awarded Padmashree by the Indian Government.
