Sanskruti Centre for Cultural Excellence recently celebrated the Universal Children’s Day with about 30 children from London and beyond in the age bracket of 5 to 12. This event had performances across the board including songs, classical and folk dances, keyboard and guitar instrumentals, shloka and poetry recitation among others.

Appreciation certificates were awarded to all the participants by acclaimed life-coach Dr Vishwanath Kokkonda. In his brief address to the audiences, he underpinned the key role of the performing arts on the personality development of children. Ragasudha Vinjamuri has expressed that learning and practising arts keep the young rooted in their culture and thanked the parents for encouraging the kids to learn the heritage and cultural aspects.

The event was hosted in aid of Save the Children to raise awareness of their work with children.
