On Thursday, 31st October Sona Tours Ltd had arranged a Diwali Dhamaka event at Kadwa Patidar Hall where over 550 guests saw the launch of the travel company's 2020 brochure. The event was attended by the Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Nitin Parekh and the Publisher/Editor of Asian Voice/Gujarat Samachar Mr C B Patel.

All those who attended the event received discounted vouchers up to £50 per person on various tours.

Sona tours have been running their business in the UK for over 20 years. A legacy built by Mrs Kanchanben Nemchand Shah, Sona Tours is now driven forward by her children and company directors- Mr Chetan Shah and Mr Divyakumar Shah alongside their team.

Mrs Kanchanben was previously a teacher in Kenya and has imbibed her motivation and leadership qualities in her children.

Since their inception, Sona Tours have been instrumental in facilitating members of the Asian community to visit unexplored travel destinations. From assisting them with their documentation, to conducting ground research with regards to the topography and geography of the destination to catering for Vegetarian, Jain, and Swaminarayan meals on all their tours, Sona Tours has been at the pulpit of the UK's tourism industry.

One can browse through the latest group and customised tours organised and operated by them in their 2020 brochure launched at the event.

All the customers at the event had a lovely vegetarian meal followed by tea and biscuits. Both the Mayor and Mr C B Patel awarded prices for appreciation to various communities for the dedication to their members in helping and encouraging them to travel. The event was concluded with a live music band and dance performance.
